Cape Lookout Boat & RV Storage

Cape Lookout Boat/RV Storage is a facility located on the Harkers Island Road approximately one (1) mile on the left from U.S. 70 in the Down East community of Otway, NC. This location is about 4 miles from Harkers Island and 9 miles from Beaufort.

Our buildings are metal-clad, wood-frame structures containing ten (10) units in each building. Currently, we have four (4) buildings fully constructed and occupied. However, we have room for an additional six (6) buildings which we build as we are financially able.

Each unit is approximately 11.5' wide and 35.5' deep. The front slopes from about 15' to 9.5" at the rear which is ample to accomodate most boats with "T" tops. The units are separated with a wood-framed partition and is clad in 2" x 4" galvanized fence wire. The units have doors that are lockable and, when opened, swing completely out of opening, giving you full width access in which to park your boat or small RV. The base of each unit is covered in marl (rock based).

We provide a concrete pad wash/flush station with water supply year-round. You will need to provide your own water hose/spray nozzle and flush device. The area is well-lit and accessible 24/7. There are security cameras in the area and patrol of the facility is provided by the Carteret County Sheriff's Department.
